I figured maybe it didn't like that I was restarting, so I just straight up turn off and then turned it back on, but that didn't work either. I'm changing the boot drive on my dell Inspiron 15 7559, and wanted to know for sure I could get into the bios before I changed everything so that I knew I could load onto the flashdrive with the windows installer on it. Because I can then enter bios again from windows and change the boot to my new drive after I’ve installed windows on it. And so when I power it back on, it should remember that I wanted to boot off the flash drive and then everything should proceed as normal. Then turn off the laptop, remove the old drive and put the new one in. Then tell bios to boot off the flash drive. However, what I’m going to do is to go into bios from windows settings, while my windows installer flash drive is plugged in.
